Begins again August 25
Wednesday Nights 6:30 – 8:00 pm.
Spring and Fall Semesters
The truth that those who believe in Jesus Christ will cross over from death to life (John 5:24) drives the heart of Richland Creek Student Ministries. We must be G:Local, Global/Local Christians who take that truth of the gospel from our neighborhoods to the nations. (Acts 1:8).
We train students in this reality each Wednesday night in three ways, the student prayer gathering, visitation and outreach, and core discipleship.
Each Wednesday at 6:30 the students gather for prayer. We emphasize prayer for the task of reaching the neighborhoods and the nations. Our prayers are for one another that we may grow in our walk with Christ and in boldness, for requests from small groups that God may be glorified in everyday life, for the requests of those whom we are reaching out to, for unreached people groups around the world, for missionaries around the world, and for specific individuals who need to know the gospel of Jesus Christ and are in our sphere of influence.
Each Wednesday a REACH team goes out with Sunday school small group leaders for visitation, outreach, prayer walking, and servant evangelism. These opportunities provide each student a mentoring environment to learn how to effectively share the gospel and live a lifestyle of evangelism.
Core discipleship is the final part of G:Local on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm. Our correct understanding of scripture guides our understanding of missions here and around the world. In the fall and spring the students participate in small group bible study.
6-8 grade guys and girls will spend three years in a chronological study of redemption in the Bible from Creation to the Eternal Reign of Christ.
9-12 grade will spend three years investigating the foundational doctrines and truths of the Christian faith to live out and defend.
