If you haven’t found a Sunday school small group yet I would love for you to join my wife and I as we lead the group at 11:30 am on Sunday mornings in Modular C1. We are starting a study through the book of 2 Corinthians on August 1 and it is a perfect time to jump in, For that matter we are waiting on your every week so stop by anytime!

We focus on teaching God’s word in a practical way using discussion to unpack God’s truth. No lectures here. We also get together for fellowships to get to know one another more and just have fun as families. Outreach is also a big part of each week because we really wnat others to be a part of growing with us in Jesus Christ.

We began a journey with Israel in the book of Exodus over the last few weeks. God is establishing his pattern of redemption and salvation that continues today. Come join us at 11:30 am in Modular C1 to walk with other adults through the journey of knowing God. As God reveals his character we respond in real authentic faith.

This Sunday we dive into Exodus 19-24. Don’t miss it!

Trivia night is taking place Saturday, March 27^th in the Fellowship Hall at Richland Creek.  The night begins at 6:30pm and is completely free.  Prizes will be awarded to first and second place teams.

This event is NOT limited to just the people in your Sunday School class.  This would be an excellent opportunity for people to bring unsaved friends to a very laid-back activity.

Here’s what’s needed:

1. Put together your team of 8.  Your team of 8 will have their own round table to sit at in the fellowship hall.
2. Create a name for your team.
3. Bring food for your team.  You’ll want to bring snacks that you can munch on over the course of the evening.  The items will need to fit on your table.  Don’t worry about bringing enough food for everyone coming.  Just bring enough snacks for your team.  (Lemonade and water will be provided.  However, if you would like something other than lemonade or water, feel free to bring it).
4. Someone to watch the kids…childcare is NOT provided.

The Actual Game:

1. There will probably be 8-rounds with 8-questions per round (but this is still being worked out).
2. The announcer will announce what the category is (such as: History, Bible, Advertising, Before they were Stars, etc.)
3. The announcer will ask one question from that category.
4. Your team will have roughly 10-15 seconds to discuss amongst yourselves what you believe the answer is and then write your answer on the provided answer sheet.
5. A different category is announced and a new question is asked.
6. At the end of the round your team’s answer sheet is brought over to the judge’s table.
7. The questions are put back up on the screen and the answers are revealed.
8. Each question is worth 10-points with a bonus question that’s worth 20-points.
9. At the end of the night the winners are announced and PRIZES will be awarded.

Plan on the event taking 2-2 ½ hours.  We will get started at 6:30pm
